Association Registration

2026 YLM Association Membership Fees

$500 per association. Covers YLM overhead and administrative costs, including website, webmaster, scheduling.  A $300 year-end refund will be available to each association that timely fulfills its responsibility to post team coaches' contact information on all teams' YLM team pages; register and train coaches as required by YLM; and post team rosters to YLM team pages by published deadlines. Associations must request their refunds after the season and certify compliance. YLM reserves the right to verify compliance. 

Registration Notes:

When initially registering your associations, please use the email that you would like to have the approval and team registration invites be sent to for account validation.

Once you have received your registration invite and become a connected account, you can go in and add more people to your account that can receive all notices and communications.

Monday, Jan 5, 2026 - YLM Registrations OPEN 

Sunday, Feb 1, 2026 - Association & Leader Registration CLOSES at midnight.

Sunday, April 19, 2026 - Field Registration CLOSES at midnight.

Sunday, May 3, 2026 - Team Registration CLOSES at midnight.

• NOTE: YLM membership voted in 2018 not to permit late team registrations. 

May 11, 2026 - DRAFT schedule released for comment 

This version of the schedule will be released for associations' comment and conflict reconciliation. It remains subject to significant change based on association feedback; it should not be released to families. 

May 14, 2026 - Association comments on draft schedule DUE

• NOTE: Associations have 72 hours to submit comments on the draft schedule, i.e., to call out conflicts, field issues, or matchup issues. Plan accordingly. Delays prevent timely issuance of final schedule.

May 18, 2026 - YLM summer schedule finalized for public release.

• NOTE: After final schedule has been released, changes remain possible to the extent necessitated by weather, field closures, and officials' availability.

Monday, June 1, 2026 - League play begins

June 8, 2026 - Coach and Team Manager Registration DUE

NB: Date moved up to facilitate YLM communication with coaches and team managers.

By this date, associations must certify that all coaches:

• Have an active USA Lacrosse coach membership (includes free background check) that's current through at least July 27, 2026. 
• Have completed required coach education as approved at the 2020 YLM AGM: 
• All coaches who will have contact with players and who may be on the sidelines during YLM games must be USAL BRONZE certified
• Preferred: All head coaches should ideally be USAL SILVER certified.
• Any association that needs financial support in furtherance of this USAL Silver certification goal for head coaches should contact YLM leadership.

Friday, June 26, 2026 - June make-up dates

Sunday, June 28, 2026 - 6U/8U/10U Jamboree Registration CLOSES

July 2-5, 2026 - Fourth of July Blackout.  

No YLM games will be scheduled for these dates. Games will otherwise be scheduled during the week preceding and following the Fourth of July holiday. Make sure participating families know!

Monday, July 6, 2026 - Final Team Rosters DUE

• Team rosters must be locked in and published on each team's webpage by this date. Final rosters should include players’ first name, last initial, and jersey number. Teams should privately retain rosters that include player's first and last names, dates of birth, and USAL membership information, and should be prepared to make that private information available to YLM within 30 minutes of request.

Thursday, July 23, 2026 - Tentative release of final 12U/14U YLM State Tournament schedule.

July 18-19, 2026 - YLM State Jamboree Weekend for all 6U, 8U, and 10U teams. (Locations TBA.)

July 25-26, 2026 - YLM State Tournament Weekend for all 12U and 14U teams. (Locations TBA.)

Early November 2026 - YLM Annual General Meeting (Location TBA.)
